Ramona Panus,
Owner/President

Ramona Panus is Owner/CEO of Rangecraft Manufacturing. She is a member of the NKBA and educates clients on kitchen range hood designs. In a predominantly male-driven industry, it’s an inspiration to see a strong woman as a leader in manufacturing. Her demand for exceptional quality and superior customer service is why she is well-respected among her peers.

For three years in a row, 16′, 17′, and 18′, Ramona was selected to be a part of Faces of Bergen, which is a showcase of innovative businesses in Bergen County. Ramona absolutely adores dogs, especially the boxer breed. She often volunteers her free time doing what she can to help find rescues a home, offers financial assistance, and creates groups where like-minded individuals can share their experiences.

Some fun facts about Ramona are that she grew up as a swimmer, which is where her competitive edge indeed came from. Swimming allowed her to become both physically and mentally strong. Later in life, she wanted an extreme challenge, so she motivated herself to compete and finish a few Ironman Triathlons in Kailua – Kona, Hawaii. Now, her pride and joy are her four grandkids, whom she loves to
spoil.

David Podwyszynski,
Owner/Production Manager

David Podwyszynski, Owner/Operations Manager of Rangecraft Manufacturing, is a loving husband and father. He attended Kean University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sought to pursue law. When he graduated, there was a freeze in the Northeast in all Justice Departments, so he pivoted and looked to stay around family.

At Rangecraft, David started in a position sweeping the shop and learned to do the electrical for the hoods. Slowly, he began learning the process as he would start crafting and assembling the hoods. He continued by learning to program the CNC machines and ultimately running them. When the foreman decided to step down, David volunteered to take on the role, which led him to get more involved in the company’s business side. Today, he is proud to own this incredible American-made business.

His most outstanding achievements with the company include sourcing the exotic blue mirrored stainless steel in 2014, which later received an award at KBIS in 2016. In 2015, he brought an idea to reality when he secured a branding partnership with Swarovski, making Rangecraft the only range hood manufacturer in the world to have a license to adorn their hoods with crystals. In 2018, he was honored to be a part of the Thirty Under 30 class for the NKBA, recognized for his hard work, dedication, and being an outstanding professional in the industry at KBIS. In 2021, he was selected to serve on the Advisory Board for Pace University’s Luben School of Business to represent the manufacturing sector.

Some fun facts about David are he’s played soccer his entire life. Bayern München is his favorite club that he supports. Every year, he participates in a 5k for the American Brain Tumor Association to help raise awareness for this cause. Watching sports, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with his family is what he loves to do outside of work.
